WHO WE ARE
WELS-CANADA IS A LUTHERAN CHURCH BODY COMPRISED OF CANADIAN CONGREGATIONS AFFILIATED WITH THE WISCONSIN EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN SYNOD (WELS).
WELS IS A GROUP OF 400,000 MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN IN 1,200 CONGREGATIONS ACROSS NORTH AMERICA, WITH MISSIONS IN 40 FOREIGN COUNTRIES.
WE ARE UNITED IN A COMMON CALLING – SHARING CHRIST’S LOVE WITH THE WORLD.

A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Good day! I’m very happy that you found us.
Have you ever felt broken? It can stem from decisions we've made, or what we've done that we can't undo. We are all broken in our own unique way. We are all broken in the same way, in our relationship with our Maker. We don't have to stay broken. Jesus Christ came to give peace to broken people like you and me.
Christmas is the celebration of God being born as a human in order to live the perfect life that you cannot. He lived His life for you, as you. He died on a cross to pay for the sins of the world, that includes your sins.
On Easter He rose from the dead, proving that He is God’s Son, proving that His rescue from sin plan was real, it worked real results: You and I are at peace with our God.
Please be our guest for uplifting worship, more joy than guilt, a message of hope, and a place to find peace. In our churches you will hear how Jesus has healed the broken with His forgiveness.
